This depends on the organization, but we suggest two things.  First, that every manager/supervisor gets a copy of the MRI report for his/her group.  This is just like every manager receiving his budget report:  so (s)he can know where (s)he stands and what (s)he can do to improve the performance of the group.  Secondly, we recommend that upper management, as well as the internal “champion” of the MRI (that person most familiar with the MRI) be given access to all the MRI intelligence as well as the MRI Summary Document.  The MRI Summary Document condenses all the MRI intelligence into what are the most important priorities of the organization for that quarter.  And, just as the CFO or controller is available to help both upper management and individual managers better understand the financial information, the MRI champion has been trained to help managers better understand their MRI intelligence.
